The WISC Mind/Body program includes yoga, barre, pilates, and rebounding… with multiple options of each.  Find your OM with us!

 

Not sure if this is for you?  Schedule a FREE orientation where you’ll meet the performance gym and mind/body instructors, tour both gyms, go over movements and assess where you’re at individually, ask lots of questions, and see if this is for you!! (psst… it’s for everyone!)

  • Yoga

    Find your flow by quieting the body and mind through a system of physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation to promote physical and emotional well-being.

  • Barre

    Barre is a fitness class centered around the ballet barre and incorporates fundamentals from ballet, Pilates, and yoga. It’s goal is to strengthen the core and various muscle groups through small, intentional movements with an emphasis on form, alignment and core engagement.

  • Pilates

    Pilates is a total body conditioning exercise method combining flexibility and strength. Pilates is a full body workout focused on the core, referred to in Pilates as the Powerhouse. Practicing Pilates will help you improve posture and strengthen and lengthen your muscles. It’s appropriate for all levels and many modifications will be given.

  • Rebounding

    Rebounding is a type of aerobic exercise that is performed while jumping on a mini-trampoline. At WISC we use the Bellicon Rebounder, which is the best on the market.  Low impact, and gentle on the knees, jumps can be fast or slow, and can be mixed with rest or aerobic stepping. Rebounding can help work the muscles in the legs, increase your endurance, and strengthen your bones, among a number of other benefits.  Suitable for beginners.

What is Fitness Academy?

The WISC Fitness Academy offers the flexibility to attend different types of group fitness classes. Monthly packages offer unlimited usage for all classes. Add a WISC membership to get member pricing for the Fitness Academy and gain additional access to the full-equipped fitness center, the aquatics center to swim laps, as well as discounts on all other WISC programs.
