About Felix

Felix, a native from Brisbane, Australia moved to Chicago in 2016 to begin his graduate studies and jump start his career in the field of sport psychology.  Being an athlete all his life, Felix’s love for sport naturally guided him to pursue a career in sport psychology with the goal of supporting athletes in gaining the same opportunities that were afforded to him through sport.  He understood just how powerful mental performance consulting can be when he helped build a sophomore’s confidence by cultivating a strong relationship and learning to harness the power within himself.

Since completing his graduate studies at Adler University, Felix now plays a major role in the development and execution of various educational and mental training programs for not only a local professional soccer club but for athletes and coaches in the greater Chicagoland area. Within his several roles, Felix has consulted with some of the best young talent, collegiate athletes, professional athletes, youth national team representatives, and coaches. In his direct work with athletes, Felix strives to enhance their wellbeing and support them in performing at their best on a consistent basis. How he goes about this is a mixture of understanding the person from past through present, looking at their personality, and creating pressure-inducing environments. Besides his work as a practitioner, over the past couple years, Felix has also presented at several conferences and conventions, which includes the Association for Applied Sport Psychology Annual Conference (AASP), the NSCA Illinois State Clinic, and the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
