Out of School Day Camps
Out of School Day Camps are offered for children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. These camps are available on snow days, spring break, winter break and other holidays following the WJCC calendar.
Your child will participate in a variety of activities including but not limited to, recreational games, clip n’ climb, swim, gymnastics, arts & crafts, just to name a few.

Is WISC Kids Club a VA Licensed Facility?
Yes. Our center is licensed and consistently
inspected by the VA Department of Social Services.
Kids Club works diligently to ensure that we exceed
the guidelines and expectations of the state of VA.
What are your hours of operation?
For Before School: 6:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m.
For After School: 3:15 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
For WJCC 2-hour delays: 6:30-11:00 a.m.
For WJCC early dismissals: 12:45 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
For most WJCC closures: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Summer Camp: 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
What are the costs of your programs?
Before or After School: $60/week
Before AND After School: $85/week
Out of School Day Camp: $15/day for Kids Club
families, $20/day for WISC Members, or $30/day for
Summer Camp: $140/week
10 % Sibling discount on the lower tuition
3 or more children 10 % discount on all
Do you run all year long?
The Fall School Year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day. (September- June)
Summer Camp begins the Monday after WJCC Public Schools let out. (June-August)
Which schools do you serve?
We serve Stonehouse Elementary, DJ Montague Elementary, Matthew Waley Elementary, Waller Mill Elementary, Williamsburg Montessori, Clara Byrd Baker, Laurel Lane Elementary, James Blaine Elementary, James River Elementary, Matoaka Elementary, Norge Elementary, and Williamsburg Christian Academy.
What qualifications, education, or experience do your coaches have?
Our coaches meet the training requirements given by VDSS including a transportation course for our bus drivers. Some of our coaches are also currently continuing their education.
Does the staff administer medication?
Staff that has successfully completed Medication Authorization Training can administer medication.
Over-the counter topical ointments can be administered by all staff.
What is your staff-child ratio?
Our staff-child ratio is 1:18.
Does the center provide snacks and lunch?
During the school year, if parents would like their child to have a snack they may pack one. During the summer parents are required to pack two healthy snacks and a healthy lunch with a refillable water bottle in a lunch box every day. Lunch boxes and water bottles need to be labeled with the child’s name. Ice packs and thermoses should be used to keep foods at safe temperatures.
What daily activities occur in Kids Club?
During the school year the children will participate in recreational activities throughout the WISC, group games, have outdoor time, make crafts, and have homework help.
During the summer our groups will enjoy thematic activities, group games, special event days, outdoor exploration, recreational fun, and go on field trips!
Will my child be escorted to other WISC Programs that they are signed up for?
Yes. If you sign your child up with another WISC
program, one of our coaches will take them to their
activity and bring them back if the activity begins
and ends during operating hours.
