How we are keeping you safe

To ensure a safe and healthy training experience for everyone, we are implementing the following measures for our classes.

– Masks are required when entering and leaving the WISC, but not during training.  All spectators must wear a mask if observing the class.  Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the WISC and at the entrance of the Martial Arts Centre.  Please use them.

– If you are not feeling well or have a fever please do not attend.

All students will be temperature tested prior to class and if a temp exceeds 100.4F the student may not participate.  There will be a very limited opportunity for parent viewing due to physical distancing, and all spectators will be temperature tested as well.

– Class sizes will be smaller for better physical distancing, so please register ASAP to ensure your participation. Additional training days/time will be considered after the summer session.  A 15 minute break between classes will allow instructors to clean and prepare the room for the next class.

– Please arrive dressed to train so as not to have to utilize the restrooms for changing unless absolutely necessary, and please bring a personal water bottle for your hydration.

– All of our Martial Arts Instructors have been trained and have received their COVID Safe Martial Arts Instructor Certification from the Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA).  We will be teaching non-contact material in kihon, kata and kobudo drills only.  No physical contact or partnering at this time.  We will adapt as restrictions are ammended.

Thank you for supporting Martial Arts at WISC powered by Seikukan, we appreciate your participation in keeping us all safe and healthy as we train.
